Overview East West Bank is seeking a Real Estate Evaluation Analyst for our Appraisal team. Responsibilities Conduct independent administrative compliance (non-licensed task) review of commercial and residential real estate appraisals to ensure compliance with regulatory and Bank requirements and the ability to provide constructive feedback to appraisers or 3rd party evaluators.The evaluation officer is the liaison with the business line Act as liaison to the Residential Mortgage Team to assist them occasionally on elevated residential appraisal reports and provide recommendation and/or discuss directly with the Appraisal Management Companies (AMCs)Write commercial and residential real estate evaluations, validation or review reports in a timely mannerConduct and write a monthly and quarterly quality control report of appraisals ordered by the Residential Mortgage team.Analyze commercial and residential real estate trends and markets, understand overall commercial and residential valuations, perform research using internal and external tools to provide market dataStrong communication and organizational skills are essential, as the analyst provides regular project updates to internal stakeholders and supports reporting and administrative tasksExtremely detail-oriented and organized with a proven ability to work well in a high-intensity environment to complete tasks quickly and effectivelyThis role may occasionally be responsible for assisting the appraisal coordinator documenting and tracking valuation orders and deadlinesAdhoc projects as requested Qualifications Commercial and residential real estate evaluation experience and/or commercial and residential real estate review experience Real estate knowledge of residential and commercial real estate appraisals and the use of an evaluation reportProficient navigation skills with Word, Excel, and artificial intelligence (AI)A real estate appraisal state license is not requiredApplicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
